Where is the town of Marin?

The town of Marin is located on the Caribbean coast of Martinique about 29 kilometers from the Aimé Césaire airport, or around 30 minutes by car. Once in the town of Marin, it takes only 15 minutes to reach the village of Sainte-Anne, little more to access the Salines beach. The location of Le Marin is also ideal for reaching the Atlantic coast of Martinique and especially the town of Vauclin. This should take you only 15 minutes to access this town from Marin.

What to do when you're in Marin?

What are the closest beaches to the town of Marin?

At the eastern exit of the Bourg du Marin take the direction of Sainte-Anne then at the roundabout follow the signs for Cap Macré. Not very touristy because accessible by a rocky path (but still suitable for motor vehicles!) This magnificent white sand beach is bordered by grape trees and some coconut trees. The shades of blue invite you to swim (beware of the waves anyway) and the picnic tables for lunch! Great program in perspective!
Although its name includes that of the town, Pointe Marin is located in Sainte-Anne! Allow about 10 minutes to reach Pointe Marin from the eastern exit of the commune of Marin. Pointe Marin is best known for the presence of Club Med and a beautiful white sand beach lined with restaurants.
Finally, the very famous Salines beach is accessible in 15 minutes from the East away from Marin. Very popular during weekends and holidays, this white sand beach offers a paradise setting: turquoise waters and coconut palms!
